Josh Silver

Josh Silver is an American musician best known as the keyboardist and backing vocalist for the heavy metal band Type O Negative, which formed in 1990. Silver's contributions to the band include his signature use of keyboards and synthesizers, which helped shape the group's gothic and doom metal sound. Type O Negative gained significant recognition in the 1990s with albums such as "Bloody Kisses" (1993) and "October Rust" (1996), both of which showcased their unique blend of heavy metal, gothic rock, and dark humor. Notable tracks include "Black No. 1," "My Girlfriend's Girlfriend," and "Love You to Death." Silver’s work with Type O Negative has had a lasting impact on the metal genre, influencing a generation of musicians with their atmospheric sound and poetic lyrics.
